And finally...

The final debriefing took place this week. So this is the end of O15W.
Overall I think it was a great success! It came together nicely in the end. The exhibition looked great, we had a pretty good turn out, we got some local coverage plus - most importantly I enjoyed myself.
It was really interesting to see how much effort has to be put in to so many different areas for an exhibition, a great experience to be part of.

O15W

Some photos of our beautiful O15W. The class Polaroids - bunting style, the exhibition; final image is our set of golf images.

I thought it looked really good all together, displayed well with nothing distracting from the images.
Must have been pretty alright - because we've had an offer to buy our golf shoot photos. Feeling rather chuffed about that.

TV Display

This is my TV promotion display for the O15W exhibition in St George's Shopping Centre.
I'm pretty pleased with it. Hope it draws people in, time will tell.

Shambling our way through

Bit of a nightmare, everyone came together last week - and we all realised how much there is to do. Just 2 weeks to go now, and lots to do and arrange. I think the whole thing has gone on too long - people have got complacent about a lot of things, including myself i expect, although I feel like I've contributed a lot more than some people. And going to design the invites and TV screen ad for the shopping centre too.
I think Beth should get a prize - she seems to be putting her all into it, so well done Beth!

The bitter sweet O15W Logo

A quick post with my logo design.
Vickie made one too, it went to a class vote and people chose mine, almost unanimously. I felt really proud and touched everyone liked mine but also really bad for Vickie! I hope it hasn't upset her.

First image is of some ideas I quickly put together. The second and third are with all the changes I discussed with Ruth and the class, to improve it and to make sure we aren't infringing any copyright stuff with the image of the compass. I made it a bit simpler and changed the the needle's position. I did two colour ways, one blue arrow and one grey. I thought the grey one works much better. - So there it is - the final image here - our O15W logo

Notes

Just found some notes from various sessions in my notebook...
So I thought I'd pop them up on here.
I quite like the look of them, I've always liked sketchbooks and doodles.

The first image is from the planning session, and how to be objective and subjective
The second is a list of locations and a couple of sketches of logo ideas
The third is some more quick sketches of logo ideas

We didn't have a session last week, so we'll have to wait until thursday to carry on I think - unfortunately it's really difficult to get everyone together outside of class time

I think it's going to be a rush in the end, o dear.
